GUIDELINES and safety guidelines
We strongly request that you familiarize yourself with the space and location in case of an emergency. Exits, windows, and fire extinguishers, as well the fire safety instructions below.
Please take note of the Emergency Exit Plan.
Should you need to see a medical professional during your stay, there are hospital/urgent-care facilities within close proximity of T1RH: Should you need immediate emergency medical attention, please call 911.

CLEANLINESS STANDARDS:
Prior to your arrival, the penthouse is deep-cleaned using detailed and stringent protocols. We pay special attention to all areas throughout the space and particularly high-touch surfaces (including but not limited to door handles/locks, stair handrails, countertops, furniture/fixtures, chairs, tables, nightstands, bathrooms, shower dispensers, control panels, and more). We use the highest standard of disinfectant.
HOUSE RULES
OCCUPANCY
Guests must maintain a maximum of 4 overnight guests. Outside visitors must be communicated to management prior to arrival.
SMOKING is not permitted at T1RH
Any evidence or complaints of smoking will result in a $1500 fee.
(This includes tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs & substances, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and burning candles.)
Also Not Permitted
No gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, or animals.
PETS
We’re a pet-free environment of any kind. No animals are permitted on property. Violators are subject to a $2500 fee.
DELIVERIES
Guests must be present for any third-party deliveries (food, drink, services) unless otherwise communicated to management as a special request. No vendors are allowed in the T1RH unless accompanied by a guest or management. Please meet all deliveries at the front door.
AIME LEON DORE UMBRELLAS
Our umbrellas are available for guest use. We ask that they’re returned to the property immediately following use. (There will be a charge for umbrellas that are not returned.) Please leave wet umbrellas in the holder inside the entrance of the property.
NOISE
We ask that all our guests be considerate to our neighbors and community.
Noise is to be kept to a minimum between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. We reserve the right to contact guests in the event of complaints or excessive noise, and to issue fees of up to $1500 if it remains a problem.
PARTIES
Unless a guest has secured prior approval from T1RH management, T1RH does not allow parties or more than two outside visitors at a time.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from hotel management. A fee of $3,000 will be charged upon violation.
Lost or Damaged Property
Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and/or excessive cleanings resulting from anything beyond normal use of our amenities during the guest's stay. The guest authorizes T1RH to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning textiles and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room; and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures; and replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to its original placement prior to checking out. Violations will result in an additional fee of $1500.
Guest Conduct and T1RH Rights
It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the premises. T1RH management has the right to request any guest to vacate without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the management has the right to remove the guest’s luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.
FIRE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - CALL 911
If there is fire or smoke, leave immediately.
When you leave, carefully open the door and establish whether there is smoke in the corridor.
See below for instructions on what to do if you cannot leave your room.
If only a little smoke is visible, make your way as quickly and carefully as possible down the stairs.
Proceed in a crouched position, as the air on the ground is better than air on higher levels.
Never try to proceed through thick smoke.
Remain calm.
Please do not take any personal risk. Only attempt to put out small fires with the aid of an extinguisher, if you determine that it is safe to do so. Extinguishers are located, one in each bedroom. In case of a large fire, leave the building immediately through the safest route.
If it is unsafe to proceed into a corridor or if the exit is blocked, remain in your room and call 911.
Place wet towels and sheets against the foot of the door to prevent smoke from entering your room.
Keep wastepaper baskets ready for use as buckets so that you can keep towels and sheets at the door wet.
Wave a sheet out the window as a signal to fire brigade that your room is occupied.
Remain close to the floor, and cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth to ease breathing.
Do not break any windows unless necessary. Closed windows help to prevent draughts of air feeding the fire.
EMERGENCY LADDERS:
There are emergency ladders at 2 exit points within the space in case evacuation is necessary. 1) in the primary suite / front of the building facing Michigan 2) back of the space facing I-75 / terrace exit.
The hooks secure the ladder to the window frame or to the sill of most windows and won’t slip off. The ladder hook is RETRACTABLE, please extend the ladder hook at both ends to the maximum when using.
SECURITY
For guest safety and security, there is 24/7 monitored security surveillance covering the exterior of the property.
